JMJ provides resources like free webinars and faith formation sessions to help pilgrims prepare spiritually for the event.
JMJ Pilgrimages Pakistan began with a tremendous desire to evangelize his students through pilgrimages to Europe and World Youth Day 2008. What started in his own classroom has now grown into an organization that has helped thousands of young Catholics to grow and shape their faith on pilgrimages around the world.It is a pilgrimage designed for young people to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.

The Catholic World Youth Day in 2027 will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from August 3 to August 8, 2027. The official theme for the event is "Take courage! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).The selection of Seoul as the host city was announced by Pope Francis during the closing Mass of the previous World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal, in August 2023. This will be the second time the event takes place in Asia, after Manila, Philippines, in 1995, and the first time in a country where Catholics are a minority.


Catholic World Youth Day (WYD) is a large, international gathering of young Catholics with the Pope, held every two to three years in a different city around the world. It is a multi-day event that includes prayer, sacraments, catechesis, and cultural festivities, culminating in a final Mass celebrated by the Pope.A large-scale pilgrimage and celebration that brings together young people from all over the world to experience the universality of the Catholic Church.The Pope always attends to address the young people.


Catholic international shrines include the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, the Vatican's St. Peter's Basilica in Italy, and the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Poland. Other significant sites are the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal.
